COP28即將要開始了

今年是一個動盪到一年，經過疫情之後，似乎所有的生活與生計都有了莫大的變動，不管從經濟層面到民生層面，從獲利結構到通貨膨漲，地緣政治的變化，散發出一陣陣各方面的難過的聲音，台灣呢？也在對應關係中，也要展開新一次的選舉。

氣候變遷的問題，20多年前開始的文件與調查，從科學騙局的言論，進入了顯學。對所有台灣人來說，看起來還沒有個人性的壓力，對企業而言卻是影響生存的必要條件。

工業革命後，石化產業帶來的便利、產品的生產模式與商業模式，也在氣候變遷中產生了莫大的變化。

隨著全球氣溫創下歷史新高，極端天氣事件影響著全球人民，今年的聯合國氣候變化會議COP28是糾正方向並加快採取行動應對氣候危機的關鍵機會。 COP28是世界將評估2015年締結的具有里程碑意義的氣候條約《巴黎協定》取得進展的地方，並制定大幅減少排放、保護生命和生計的行動路線。

科學研究很清楚：，為了保護宜居的氣候，煤炭、石油和天然氣的生產必須迅速下降，全球可再生能源能力，包括風能、太陽能、水力和地熱能，到2030年需要增加兩倍。 與此同時，適應融資和氣候復原力投資需要加速。

今年的COP28彙集了政府、企業、非政府組織和民間社會的主管人，為我們這個時代的決定性問題找到具體的解決方案。盼望也成為台灣未來地緣政治的盼望。

COP28 is about to start

This year has been a turbulent year. After the epidemic, it seems that all lives and livelihoods have undergone tremendous changes. From the economic level to the people's livelihood level, from the profit structure to inflation, geopolitical changes have sent out a wave of changes. There are sad voices from all sides, what about Taiwan? In the corresponding relationship, a new election must also be launched.

The issue of climate change, documents and investigations that began more than 20 years ago, has moved from claims of scientific hoax to explicit science. For all Taiwanese people, there seems to be no personal pressure, but for enterprises, it is a necessary condition for survival.

After the industrial revolution, the convenience brought by the petrochemical industry, product production models and business models have also produced great changes in climate change.

With global temperatures hitting record highs and extreme weather events affecting people around the world, this year's United Nations climate change conference, COP28, is a critical opportunity to correct course and accelerate action to combat the climate crisis. COP28 is where the world will take stock of progress made under the Paris Agreement, the landmark climate treaty concluded in 2015, and chart a course of action to significantly reduce emissions and protect lives and livelihoods.

The science is clear: To protect a livable climate, coal, oil and gas production must decline rapidly, and global renewable energy capacity, including wind, solar, hydro and geothermal, needs to triple by 2030. At the same time, adaptation financing and climate resilience investments need to accelerate.

This year's COP28 brings together leaders from government, business, NGOs and civil society to find concrete solutions to the defining issues of our time. Hope has also become the hope for Taiwan’s future geopolitics.
